Anasys Instruments, 2M Strumenti and Sapienza University of Rome would like to invite you to the AFM-IR Workshop at the Physics Department, Sapienza University of Rome. The workshop will provide a detailed introduction to nanoscale spatial resolution IR spectroscopy and chemical imaging.

Scientific talks will cover theory and principles of the AFM-IR technique, as well as recent data on a variety of applications solutions.

During the instrument demonstration, you will have the opportunity to learn the nanoscale infrared spectroscopy (nanoIR) technique on the Anasys Instruments nanoIR2 system. This technology combines the chemical analysis of IR spectroscopy with AFM imaging to chemically identify sample components with nanometer scale spatial resolution.

Speakers:
• Dr. Francesco Simone Ruggeri, Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge
• Dr. Valeria Giliberti, Italian Institute of Technology, CLSN Laboratory
• Dr. Miriam Unger, Anasys Instruments

Preliminary Agenda:
• Welcome & Introduction to the Research Projects at the Department of Physics, Sapienza University of Rome, Alessandro Nucara
• Introduction to nanoIR and s-SNOM, Miriam Unger
• Scientific talks, Simone Ruggeri, Valeria Giliberti
• Equipment demonstrations
• Discussion & Closing Remarks
All meals and snacks will be provided.

Register now!

Join us and take the chance to learn about cutting-edge research in chemistry, materials, and life sciences using nanoscale IR spectroscopy!

La partecipazione alla presentazione e dimostrazione è GRATUITA ma è necessario la REGISTRAZIONE in quanto il numero di posti disponibili è limitato
